Summer is here, how do you choose the sunglasses that suit you?

Many people like sunglasses in summer. I often see people wearing sunglasses while driving on cloudy days, and even shopping in Shopping Mall. In addition, the air in the United States is relatively good. I have been in DC for many years, and there is almost no smog. The sun is bright in summer. You must wear sunglasses when driving, otherwise it will be too dazzling! To protect the eyes from the sun's ultraviolet (UV) rays, the NIH recommends choosing sunglasses that block 99% or 100% of UVA and UVB radiation.

If you have an eye disease, it is recommended to consult a doctor before wearing sunglasses; some groups of people may not be suitable for wearing sunglasses (or need special attention), such as glaucoma patients, optic retinitis patients, color blindness patients, night blindness patients.

In 1929, General John MacCready of the U.S. Army Air Corps turned to New York-based medical device manufacturer Bausch & Lomb to create glasses that would reduce the blue and white glare of high altitude so that his pilots would no longer get dizzy.
